This book is great for people who just found out they have diabetes. This book mentors the reader through setting goals to prevent burnout. the book helps with portion control and recommends foods to eat that are low in carbohydrates but still fills you up. The authors also talk about exercise, even though injury. It has recommendations on when to test your blood-sugar levels.
With only 133 pages I recommend this book for those who just found out they are diabetic or pre-diabetic. it is easy to read and provides illustrations that make the book easy to follow. The other reason I like the book is because it’s Available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac or anywhere you can access iBooks. the authors also provide tips that help prevent burn out, something I have often struggled with.
